Part IV. From Dartmouth to the Prisons of PA to Kona, HI: The formation of Kingdom healthcare models with the spiritual gifts operating and the power to heal (Bob Doe, Kylie, audio)

This is the link to Part IV.

Go to 3.22:30 - 3.56.45.

One quotation:

What got me into this?

Two things.

In my pre-Jesus days, I was the guy who, if you didn’t know what was wrong with someone, everyone would bring them to me. And in five minutes, I could make the most bizarre and unsuual diagnosis.

And I would pat myself on the back and say how wonderful I was and how smart I was because I went to Dartmout medical school and Ivy League college.

Then I got saved.

And in the same ER setting, someone would walk in with a panic [attack] and I would say,

“I’m so sorry…Oh, when you were 9, did you almost drown?

“How did you know that?”

And half of them were so happy. And we would pray and lead them to Jesus. And we would pray and they would get healed.

And the other half would punch me in the face. Because they weren’t ready to hear that yet.

And so you learn that in the beginning that everything you hear is not something people want to hear.

The second thing is the story of his pathway out of the healthcare reform movement in the early 1990’s to director of medicine within a prison system in Lancaster, PA outside of Philadelphia.

The talk closes with a word on then movement towards healing.

Take this in.

Enjoy.

Thank you, Bob!
