  • The first clinic training track of its kind, incorporating medicine and behavioral health into the larger framework of philosophy and theology with a view towards a more comprehensive exploration into the nature of the human person

    Academic Curriculum

  • ACGME core competencies for Internal Medicine Residency

    Compressed into a 12 month program utilizing the Yale Office-Based Curriculum

  • Lectures further personalized to the fellow’s needs and career goals.

    Clinical Training

  • Continuity Clinic amidst the challenges of medicine in the inner city within a multidisciplinary team of fellow trainees, internal medicine and family medicine residents, pharmacists, psychologists, nurses and medical assistants.

  • Rotations within a wide variety of subspecialities constructed around the fellow’s needs and career goals.

  • One-on-one mentorship in the dynamics of whole person care.

    Spiritual Integration 

  • Longitudinal whole person care curriculum combining insights from the history of medicine, living systems sociology, theology and incarnational missions. 

  • One-on-one mentoring together with clinic-wide sessions and guest lectures by authorities in the field. 

    Longitudinal Research

  • Participation in a mixed methods, longitudinal study with an exploratory sequential design examining the intersection between the experience of suffering, human flourishing and religious community.
