A Glimpse of Kingdom-Centered Healthcare in Action (Bob Doe, audio + video)

Dr. Doe has offered us this talk which he gave at the first of many conferences to come on this pressing issue of the transformation of healthcare in the U.S. together with the formation of Kingdom-centered providers to provide such care led and directed ultimately by the Spirit of Life.

As a brief background, Dr. Doe, after finishing undergraduate and medical school at Dartmouth, became actively involved in the healthcare reform of the early 1990’s. In the process of his rise in the political sphere, he was gloriously converted.

In this pathway, he came to understand medicine’s passage into worldly vanity (Shav [שָׁוְא] in Hebrew, which means not only that which is empty [vanitas in Latin, from which the term derives], but moreover, that which is then filled up with a lie, with falsehood.] Medicine had been emptied of the truth of its God-given gift to heal in and through Christ Jesus within His Body, the Church, and had been filled up with the lies of This Fallen Age, be it power, profit or money.

This is a very important talk, whether for early trainees in medicine or decades-long veterans.
